"THIS WEEK'S SUSTAINABILITY TIP"
Spring!!! – Spring is a critical season for the environment, marked by the return of life after winter. It is influenced by Climate Change which is causing Spring to arrive earlier than in the past, leading to earlier flowering and emergence of flower.

What can you do?
· Grow your own chemical-free vegetables, fruit and herbs
- · Support pollinators by planting native flowers and plants – resist the impulse to pick the first flowers and berries, as they are essential for wildlife to emerge from winter!
· Provide nesting material for birds such as twigs, leaves and feathers
· Eat seasonal and local produce and forage responsibly
· Organise zero-waste picnics
· Use non-toxic cleaning products for your Spring Cleaning!
Our Sustainability Plan page is regularly updated with all the steps Patcham Junior is taking towards Zero Net 2030, and you can find all weekly Sustainablility Tips added at the bottom of the page.
Please check our board at the main gate for more information on how you can help us:

RHS School Gardening Award - Another incredible achievement made possible by Ms Moyse and our wonderful children! This is a culmination of the hard work of several groups since the beginning of the year, so it really is a team effort from students across the school. We will plant the seeds sent by the RHS as reward and we'll share their produce soon!

Please, check SPORTS EVENTS on this link - check the 20 free spaces for Boxing Lessons with Moulsecoomb Boxing Academy!
Please, check CLUBS and HOLIDAY CAMPS on this link - check the Free Saxophone Taster Lesson!
LOST UNIFORM - There are two clothes bins close to the school office which are full, so if you have lost a coat/jumper/lunchbox/water bottle please come in and take a look through.
